Human Bone Marrow Stromal Cells (DMD)

5x10^5 cells

Catalog Number: ASE-5161
Quantity: 5.0 x 10^5 viable cells/mL

Product Information

Description: Human bone marrow mononuclear cells are isolated from whole bone marrow of a single donor. This heterogeneous cell population allows researchers to isolate various cell types of the immune system. Human bone marrow mononuclear cells contain CD34+ stem cells. Human bone marrow mononuclear cells enable researchers to investigate the immune system, stem cells, and regenerative medicine. In addition, they may be used for developmental studies. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a recessive X-linked form of muscular dystrophy characterized by rapid progression of muscle degeneration.

Origin: Human

Development Period: Postnatal

Disease State: Muscular dystrophy (DMD)

Quality Control: All cell processing is validated under strict protocols with IRB approval. All cells are guaranteed to meet or exceed customer’s expectations when handled according to instructions.

Passage number: Frozen cells (P2-4)

Viability: > 80%

Cryopreservation Solution: 10% DMSO

Test Conditions: Cell quality is determined visually after analyzing Gram and Acid Fast stainings. Cells are grown and passed to determine sterility mycoplasma for all lots. In addition, viability is determined prior to and after freezing. All cells are confirmed to be highly pure by molecular, cellular, or protein assays with their specific markers.
