Human bone marrow stromal cells, or mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), are derived from bone marrow mononuclear cells. These MSCs are isolated from a single donor. MSCs are one of the most investigated cells for therapeutic applications. These cells enable researchers to investigate stem cell properties, regenerative medicine, and tissue engineering. In addition, they may be used for developmental studies.
Diabetes mellitus type 2 is a metabolic disorder characterized by high blood glucose in the context of insulin resistance and/or deficiency. The etiology of diabetes type 2 is attributed to lifestyle and genetic factors.
