Description Human cardiomyocytes are derived from whole hearts that have been dissociated into single cells and cultured using differential adhesion. Human cardiomyocytes are from a single donor. They are highly positive for cardiac sarcomeric actin, myosin heavy chain, and other cardiac markers. These cells are high purity cardiomyocytes as deemed by immunocytochemical analyses.
Human cardiomyocytes may be used for various types of in vitro, in vivo, or transplantation studies into normal or diseased systems. In addition, they may be used in cardiovascular developmental studies.
Notes: These cardiomyocytes have been isolated from progenitor cells isolated from the heart.

Handling Instructions Frozen cells are shipped on dry ice. Upon arrival, place into -196°C (LN2) for long term storage or subculture immediately.
