Product Information
Human fibroblasts are derived from cultured skin explants. These fibroblasts are from a single donor. These human skin fibroblasts enable researchers to study skin diseases such as dermatitis, wound healing, and other diseases that are expressed in fibroblasts. In addition, they may be used to study the development of skin and the production of inducible pluripotent stem cells.
Fibroblasts are isolated from an individual who has been clinically and genetically diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. DMD is a recessive X-linked form of muscular dystrophy characterized by rapid progression of muscle degeneration.
