Catalog Number ASE-5172
Quantity 10.0 x 10^6 viable cells/mL

Product Information
Description Peripheral blood mononuclear cells are isolated from whole peripheral blood of a single donor. This heterogeneous cell population allows researchers to isolate various cell types of the immune system. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells enable researchers to investigate the immune system and stem cell properties in regenerative medicine, and developmental studies.
These cells are isolated from a patient diagnosed with multiple myeloma (MM). MM results in abnormal plasma cells, which accumulate in the bone and bone marrow and interfere with the development of normal cells. MM is often accompanied by immunodeficiency problems.
Origin Human origin, single donor
Development Period Postnatal
Disease State Multiple Myeloma (MM)
Quality Control All cell processing is validated under strict protocols with IRB approval. All cells are guaranteed to meet or exceed customer’s expectations when handled according to instructions.
Test Conditions Cell quality is determined visually after analyzing Gram and Acid Fast stainings. Cells are grown and passed to determine sterility and mycoplasma for all lots.  In addition, viability is determined prior to and after freezing. All cells are confirmed to be highly pure by molecular, cellular, or protein assays with their specific markers.
