Description Peripheral blood mononuclear cells are isolated from whole peripheral blood of a single donor. This heterogeneous cell population allows researchers to isolate various cell types of the immune system. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells enable researchers to investigate the immune system and stem cell properties in regenerative medicine, and developmental studies.
These cells are isolated from a patient diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). CLL affects B lymphocytes, which grow out of control and accumulate in the bone marrow and blood.

Test Conditions Cell quality is determined visually after analyzing Gram and Acid Fast stainings. Cells are grown and passed to determine sterility and mycoplasma for all lots. In addition, viability is determined prior to and after freezing. All cells are confirmed to be highly pure by molecular, cellular, or protein assays with their specific markers.
