Product Information

Description: Human umbilical cord blood mononuclear cells are isolated from umbilical cord blood. Human umbilical cord blood mononuclear cells are from a single donor. These cells contain CD34+ stem cells. They enable researchers to produce various cell types of the hematopoietic lineage using standard published protocols. These cells may be used for various studies on hematopoiesis, differentiation, angiogenesis, colony formation, and surface marker expression. Presently, they are widely investigated for various therapeutic applications.

Origin: Human origin, single donor

Development Period: Postnatal

Disease State: Normal

Quality Control: All cell processing is validated under strict protocols with IRB approval. All cells are guaranteed to meet or exceed customer’s expectations when handled according to instructions.

  • Viability: > 50%
  • Passage number: Frozen cells (P0).
  • Cyopreservation Solution: 10% DMSO

Test Conditions: Cell quality is determined visually after analyzing Gram and Acid Fast stainings. Cells are grown and passed to determine sterility and mycoplasma for all lots. In addition, viability is determined prior to and after freezing. All cells are confirmed to be highly pure by molecular, cellular, or protein assays with their specific markers.
