DCM (Dilated Cardiomyopathy)
Note: AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation) is listed under Congenital Disorders.
Primary cells are an excellent biomedical research model and are particularly valuable for clinically relevant studies. Our cells have been used for many in vivo and in vitro applications including cell-based assays, tissue regeneration, tissue engineering, transplantation studies and as feeder cells in co-cultures.
All our primary cells have been isolated from single donors following strict IRB-approved guidelines. Cells are cryopreserved at an early passage and can typically be cultured and propagated for a number of passages (see product pages for details). We test each lot for viability and growth potential. Cells are identified and characterized by marker staining. Each lot has been tested negative for HIV, Hepatitis B and C, other pathogens and mycoplasma.
Many cell types can also be used for the generation of induced Pluripotent Stem (iPS) cells. Our Technical Support team is happy to help you choosing the right cell type and to discuss reprogramming techniques and strategies with you. We also offer an iPS Cell Generation Service.
RNA is isolated using a modified guanidinium thiocyanate method and is guaranteed free of genomic DNA. cDNA is synthesized from a highly pure and intact total RNA that was isolated via a modified guanidine thiocyanate technique and devoid of genomic DNA contamination.
