iPSC Characterization: Genomic Structural Variation Analysis

While the iPSC technology has been heralded as a revolutionary breakthrough for cell regenerative medicine and to rehaul cell line models with physiologically representative in vitro models, there is still a lot that needs to be understood and standardize in the use of the cell lines for mainstream research and therapy. One such characterization needed is genomic structural variation analysis since the reprogramming of somatic cells to iPSCs has been shown to harbor mutations which has a functional impact on their derivatives. To validate the iPSC line(s) you are using for downstream projects, Applied StemCell offers genomic structural variation analysis to analyze gene copy number, chromosomal structure of your high impact iPSC lines.
